"By the time you've booked accommodation, hired a car (a 4x4 was a must), bought breakfast and equivalent lunch, paid for fuel and the numerous road tolls I doubt you'd save much money over the quoted cost.

When you then factor in the time it'd take you to find the places by car, even before you start looking for the birds it really starts to look good value and money well spent. I shudder to think how long you could drive round the Steppes without seeing the target species if you didn’t know the exact fields to scan for them.

Family or group holidays where not everyone is birding or with only one or two tours involved, leaving you plenty of time for the beach, Barcelona or the swimming pool.

Day Tours

The cost for one day's guided birding to any itinerary (inc. special requests) is €110 for one person, €125 for two and €140 for either three or four (+ VAT). Half-days considered.

Travel expenses (comfortable 4x4 vehicle, road tolls, fuel, etc.) are dependent upon itinerary and pick-up location.

Larger groups, educational tours and day trips of combined itineraries (such as Ebro Delta with Garraf Massif) can be arranged.
