Situated in Barcelona's Penedés wine region and bordering the Garraf Natural Park, this recently renovated studio (on the ground-floor of a detached villa) is surrounded by wildlife such as golden orioles, bee-eaters and red squirrels.It has its own swimming pool, Wi-Fi Internet connection and games room (with pool table & ping-pong) and is only 8km from the beautiful beaches, restaurants and nightlife of Sitges.From here it's just a short train ride to the vibrant city of Barcelona and the area is well-served by airports in Barcelona, Reus and Girona.

"The accommodation was excellent. A self-contained flat decorated and furnished with a modern feel, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, fully-equipped kitchen, fridge / freezer stocked with some essentials (milk, bread, butter etc.) and bathroom, similarly spotlessly clean with modern suite, very trendy and tasteful tiles.

Eating Arrangements |

For those happy to cater for themselves for a few days then the apartment is fully-equipped for cooking and eating in, with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge/freezer as well as an outdoor BBQ.For your convenience it also comes stocked with a complimentary starter pack of basic BREAKFAST and other supplies such as bread, milk, tea, coffee, butter, jams, oil, salt, etc.Stop-offs at local supermarkets are regularly scheduled for you to pick-up supplies.An excellent LUNCH, in the form of a full and varied home-cooked picnic based upon local Spanish and Catalan cuisine, is optional. Dietary requests are accepted. |

EVENING MEALS. Evening meals are not provided.Depending upon the mood, options include dining at one of the quality restaurants in the area, firing up the outdoor BBQ at the villa or relaxing and eating in.Local Catalan restaurants operate local opening hours, i.e. they eat late, so I am always happy to drop clients in Sitges, where there are many restaurants and bars open earlier. Local public transport is irregular so return by taxi is recommended. |

"Lunch was excellent, as good as the view. A great Spanish Omelette with spinach and white beans, various cheeses and meats including Manchego cheese and slices of chorizo, delicious home-made soup and some crusty bread and fruit juice to help it go down.

All birding short breaks and holidays can operate with daily pick-ups from Sitges or other nearby accommodation.If available and you like one of the hotels or villas I suggest, I am happy to make the arrangements for you.Barcelona is only thirty minutes away by train and there is a regular, cheap service from both Passeig de Gracia and Sants Estacio stations in the city. |
